Spring Wedding in San Casciano, Florence

When we met Laura & Alfred, it was love at first sight! They were incredibly excited and were rushing to get the wedding preparations ready, as Laura had just discovered to be pregnant with their first daughter.
Their love was amplified by the happy news and an aura of excitement was following them as they entered our studio. We just wanted to be the lucky photographers to catch it!
We started the day photographing Laura getting ready at her mum's house. Everyone was over the moon and the dress and bouquet where just fab!
Alfred & Laura married in a breathtaking ceremony in a little Church on top of the hill; the priest was a very close friend of the couple,  so the ritual was incredibly moving, and everyone cried ... (yes, including us).
The ceremony was followed by a champagne reception and a lunch in the nearby Villa il Mocale: breathtaking views and the best weather ever were the perfect framing for the celebration and one of the best food we ever had.
Laura & Alfred opted for a short session of portraits in a nearby field of olive trees. They loved some pictures that Emma took against a backdrop of tulle stretching between two trees, so we quickly recreated that setting and used some white balloons from the theme decoration. What a happy day and what a perfect way to start the wedding season!! Now we are just waiting to be the first to take pictures of their cute (we are sure oft that!) little girl 'Emma'!
