Wedding Dream in Florence Palace - winter wedding styled shoot inspiration

The first post of the New Year is a styled shoot that we photographed in the Palazzo Ximenes Panciatichi, right in the centre of Florence, Tuscany. We wanted to a create a Wedding Inspiration Moodboard that would be suitable for a Winter Wedding, perhaps a New Year's Eve Wedding or just a gorgeous Ballroom Wedding.
The location is a antique City Palace truly out of a Dream: utterly romantic with a drop dead gorgeous huge Chandelier on the main Room and its green blue painted walls, framed by frescos and golden lights. Being just minutes away from Palazzo Vecchio in Florence and from Santa Maria dei Pazzi church, it would be a perfect destination wedding location for both civil or religious wedding celebrations.
We chose a blue and golden colour palette, and a butterfly theme for the invites, plates decoration and hair  accessories. Enjoy it and see you in Florence next winter!

Wedding evening in Florence - A magic night for a Trash The Dress

First af all - congratulations to Serena & Riccardo on their first Wedding Anniversary today! We celebrate it sharing these photographs from their trash the dress session we shot last Autumn. The atmosphere of the empty streets of Florence, beautiful lit with golden lights, it is the magic setting for a love-walk between Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Repubblica, Via del Corso and more tiny roads and side streets that have seen them in love many times before... like the steps of their first house together.
We finally got to use the big red hearth shaped balloon (that didn't make it to their engagement session in one piece) and Serena had a chance to wear again such a beautiful dress!
Again and again, we chose to shot only with available natural light to capture the real atmosphere and the saturated colours of the streetlights, and somehow Florence at night seems to be able to free itself from the image of tourists and express itself in its full romanticism.
Was just lovely to catch up with such a beautiful couple, and we all enjoy an adventurous a personalised trash the dress session, that breaks away from all of the cliché of the Wedding photographs and make the bridegroom relax and really enjoy the moment and creating some long lasting photographic memory - without rushing to get back to guests and family.
Enjoy the night walk!

May Wedding in Florence - Heko & Miluska

The end of May graced us with a beautiful day for the Wedding of Heko & Miluska. Following the Dutch tradition, the groom met the bride

An International Wedding in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence

Last week was a very special date for us as well as for Ben & Lena... It was the very first wedding ceremony we photographed in Palazzo Vecchio.
