Erika
& Luca married in the centre of Campi Bisenzio, near Florence, in
the main Church. Erika enjoyed getting ready at her parents' house with
her sister and close friends, and was led to the alter by her dad. After
the ceremony we drove around with the happy bride and groom looking for
the perfect sunflower fields, a landmark in many Tuscany wedding. The
reception was Villa Rugea, a perfect destination venue between Florence
and Prato. The Villa is one of the most amazing we ever saw: plenty of
grand room with frescos, a chapel, italian traditional gardens and then
more open space, galleries, patios, a marquee and a beautiful garden
with secular trees. The style was chic and bohemian meets elegant, and
there were just so many details. Erika put some DIY into the favours,
the menu, the jam and the cactuses, and the guests were greeted with a
Thank-you card made with one Polaroid photograph from the engagement
shoot that we did few months earlier.
The
guests enjoyed relaxing and (finally!) swimming in the fantastic pool,
changed into flip flops and trainers and just made the most of the
beautiful day like a whole big family.
